The quality of their tires is at par, the pricing is in the same range and the warranties are almost similar. However, Michelin has a bigger tire selection in almost all categories compared to Pirelli.

This means that Michelin tires will give you a slightly better grip on the road, but the trade off is tire life/wear. With Bridgestone, a harder rubber will make the tread last longer. I'm currently on my 3rd set of Michelin tires that have NEVER come close to lasting their suggested milage life. .
